Campers typically are given 30 minutes or more of outdoor play per day, (weather permitting). However if the weather is really nice we will stay out for bit long and have games planned. If there is inclement weather, we have indoor games, activities and movies planed. Numerous parks are nearby where campers can enjoy playing on slides, swings, and a play structure.
Our MINI Campers will do daily Crafts, play instruments and dance. This year will also include bucket drumming and playing the ukulele.
“Under The Sea” – July 17-21 & August 14-18
Campers will learn about various sea creatures through arts & crafts, stories, and music & dance. Campers will sign, dance and learn how to play the ukulele and other percussion instruments. The week will conclude with a series of songs performed by campers for family and friends.
“Christmas In July!” – July 24-28
Campers will be creating Christmas crafts, singing, dancing and learn how to play the ukulele and other percussion instruments. The week will conclude with a series of songs performed by campers for family and friends.
Zoo Trip! A bus will pick up all campers and staff to head to the Zoo for a full day. Campers will see all the animals we have studied and learned about, up front. This will be a “whole day” event and we will be doing a lot of walking. Therefore, please send comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, hat, bottled water, lunch and snacks. We will leave early in the morning, have lunch at the Zoo and return back at Groove Academy at 4pm.
Our summer camp will conclude with a small performance for family & friends, where we share what we learned throughout the week through song and dance. Performances are held at our camp location on Friday at 2pm.

“Music In Space” theme will expose your little ones to all the planets in our galaxy, star constellations, movies and music written about space. We will also visit the Planetarium.

Lunch is held at 12pm with mid-morning and afternoon snack times. So, bring lots to munch on.

All Campers are required to bring snacks, lunch, bottled water/juice, sunscreen, a hat, extra clothes as needed, and a backpack. We will be outdoors a fair bit, so we want to make sure everyone is protected and hydrated. Please leave all electronics, irreplaceables, stuffies, and money at home!
