Summer Camps
Now booking for our summer camps 2022.
We will have 2 alternating summer camp themes this year to change it up for families that enroll in 2 camp weeks.
All camps will be scheduled with daily arts and crafts, music, dance and outdoor play. Campers learn and rehearse songs and dance moves throughout the week in preparation for a short recital for family and friends. Every camp has a fieldtrip planned. For around the world, we will visit the Zoo, (and maybe Folklorama). With Music In Space we will be visiting the Manitoba Museum and the Planetarium.
As apposed to most summer camps, where there are a ton of campers, our camp is more personal and smaller in group size to ensure everyone feels part of the group.
Register early as we fill up fast and are limited to 6 children per camp week.
Summer MINI Camp – 2022
“Around The World”
July 11-15, July 25 to 29, and August 8-12
In the Around the World Camp, campers will be exposed to the music and culture of Hawaii, Brazil, Italy and Ireland. Campers will explore movement, bucket drumming, ukulele playing, and a variety of percussion instruments. This camp will also include a trip to the zoo to see the animals of the countries we have learned about. Daily arts and crafts as well as outdoor time are included each day. This is a fun, interactive and educational opportunity for campers. Music experience is not necessary, just a love for music.
Music In Space
July 18-22, August 2-5, and August 15-19
In the Music in Space camp, campers will learn the music of Star Wars, Gustav Holst’s the Planets, and Star Trek. Campers will use bucket drums and percussion instruments during their weeks with us. This camp will also include a trip to the science museum and planetarium. Daily arts and crafts and outdoor time are included each day. Your camper will bring home their own homemade Martian, and participate in making a solar system. This is a fun, interactive and educational opportunity for campers. Music experience is not necessary, just a love for music.
