When choosing music lessons in Winnipeg, it can seem like there is so much to consider. Especially, if you are unsure of what music instrument to enroll your child in, and if your child has not expressed any strong feelings for a particular musical instrument, or for music lessons yet.

In this scenario, we recommend our “General Music Program”.  This program will introduce your child to various instruments including piano, vocals, rhythm and ukulele.  Because every child is different, we don’t have a set number of weeks our music program must follow.  We simply introduce a new musical instrument every week and see what instrument your child naturally gravitates to.

Typically, your child will have a decision within 4 lessons.  Sometimes the child will get to the second instrument, (Ex. Piano), and already know that that’s the instrument for them.

A child may not tell us exactly, “I want to pick piano lessons“, but, they typically will come into class suggesting they want to start with piano and what to stay there for the remainder of the class.
